Sickness, Maternity, Adoption and Paternity Rates in Legislation

   The annual Welfare Benefits Uprating Order has been laid before Parliament confirming the following rates for 2015/16:

Statutory Sick Pay

The weekly rate increases by £0.90 to £88.45 from 06 April 2015.

Statutory Maternity / Adoption / Paternity and Shared Parental Pay

The standard weekly SMP/SAP/ShPP/OSPP/ASPP rate increases by £1.40 to £139.58 from the first payment week starting on or after 05 April 2015.  The daily rate is £19.94 exactly.
